This was such a fun session with Ariel in downtown Asheville. Isn’t she gorgeous?!
Just a few things I learned about Ariel in our short time together:
she is one of five kids (they are all gorgeous! Mom had pictures- which I thought was fabulous!)
she’s the quiet one
she loves to read
she has an amazing smile!
So, I have this amazing friend. She’s funny and genuine. Down to earth and thoughtful. She’s an awesome mom (to five kids- which you’ll never believe once you see these images- but it’s true.) She is so giving and humble. I could go on but really, you should just see for yourself, you can read her blog at mommysnark. She’s an awesome writer. She makes me laugh right out loud one day and brings tears to my eyes the next.
Speaking of writing, she wrote a book. And, it’s being Published! (She might be cringing at this horrible, fragmented mess of a paragraph…) anyway, I am ecstatic for her. She came down last week for some head shots and it was so much fun. Here are a few of my favorite images from her session:

This girl is seriously beautiful. And was so much fun to work with! We tromped all over downtown (me huffing and puffing with my gigantic pregnant belly) but we found some great locations. Thanks for your help, Dayna! Congrats on your wedding band gig and landing a role in The Little Shop of Horrors, Jenny! You’ll be amazing!
These next two shots were totally worth getting my foot caught in a tree and nearly falling face first. Graceful.
I know I’ve been MIA lately. We’ve been hibernating. I think this is the coldest NC winter I have ever experienced! Ay yay yay!
These are from a session way back in November. So bad. We had a fabulous time! (Minus the freezing cold and the fact that Stephanie had no voice!) Congratulations again, Stephanie on being published! Can’t wait to get my hands on your book! You look amazing!
