October 21, 2009Just wanted to share a few of my kiddos. We kicked off a “no school day” day with a morning run to Krispy Kremes. Yummmm… It was a great start to our day!

I just loved this little series, vintage. And also, I want to squish his cheekies.
I told you you’d be seeing lots more of these girls!
Anna was up for any/everything. And a total natural. I’ve got to find a location like this here in NC. Loved it!

And this is Capri (love the name!) Lots more of her to come. She was a great sport too!

I was diggin’ the blue, blue sky. That’s hard to shoot around here with all the trees!

Isn’t she gorgeous? So fun too!
More of my stinkin’ cute nephew.
This one cracked me up. I can just hear him saying, “get out” (Elaine style from Seinfeld).

Below is a definite favorite.

So I had to edit just one more before bed. I swear, every one I edit becomes my new favorite. The light here is so yummy! Anna, you need to model professionally girl. You have some serious talent!

Now seriously, I’m off to bed.
I had the opportunity to attend a super amazing photography workshop this past weekend hosted by Tiffany from Follow Your Art Photography. Her work is really incredible. The girls we worked with were beautiful and so, so much fun. Here are a few of my favorites (so far- I’ve barely scratched the surface.) Loved the locations, the light, the color, the texture. I loved it all! Stay tuned for more!

I love this family! It was so great having you all in town. Also, you made my job easy!

And your slideshow!
Thanks for looking!
Braxton was one happy little man. And my nephew- so it was lots of fun. (Although super windy! That’s what you get in Idaho I guess.)
It was so good to finally meet you, buddy. Hope it’s not another 10 months before I see you again!
Thanks for your patience, Beckii! I still have more to edit but wanted to at least post a few!

Woohoo! I just found out that the motherboard on my computer is not dead. Bad memory instead. That is seriously great news! So the computer is functioning again and I’ve had some time to work on editing. However, I cannot get on line on that computer so it may be a day or two before I can post some of the pics. Hopefully it’s an easy fix. I am sooooo relieved!
The motherboard on my computer kicked the bucket, went ka-put. It’s so sad. If you are waiting for proofs bear with me (so sorry). I’m trying like a mad lady to find the part I need.
I shall return. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
It’s a wonder I’ve gotten anything done besides editing pics of my cutie pie nieces and nephews. So hard to choose. Ethan was a complete natural in front of the camera. It was so funny. And Katie was such a good sport to do more pictures the next morning too because the sun was setting fast! Thanks, girlie!

ps. Jenny, sorry you had to wait so long- I posted a few extra to make it up to you! And there are still more coming.
pps. Beckii- yours are next!
So, the title is a line from a movie that has been in my head ever since we went to Idaho. Can you name that movie?
More from our trip west! Beautiful family. And they’re mine! I’m so lucky to have all these willing semi-willing-possibly-bribed models to torture,uh, photograph. Love how these turned out. More to come! We miss you already!

I was so excited when I received the call to do Carolyn’s one year session. Her family was one of the first sessions I did since going out on my own a couple of years ago, so it meant alot to me that they asked me to capture their newest addition. Such a beautiful little girl. She was all smiles while we worked outside. Then the rain forced us to finish up inside. She did a great job but she let me know when she was done. She purposely turned her head the opposite direction and refused to look at me. Or else she’d look right past me. She had spunk. It was so funny! I really enjoyed our session.
