I wish Idaho wasn’t so far away! We miss everyone like crazy! This was the first time in years that my entire family could all get together so pictures were a must. It’s crazy trying to work around so many schedules and all show up in one place, smiling to boot! We not only did it once, but twice. The first night the storm clouds rolled in. We tried to outrun the storm but it was totally in vain. So we reconvened for bright and early the next morning. I think it was worth it. Here’s a quick peek. Starting with my youngest brother and wrapping things up with my parents and all ten of their grandkids. (Thanks to Beckii for taking some of my family!)

I can’t believe my baby is already 11 months old.  Chapel is so much fun right now.  She loves to play pat-a-cake and peek-a-boo.   She loves to dance, nod her head, point and wave, and most of all eat grown up food (while humming).  Her hugs are out of this world.  Tight around the neck, like she’ll never let go.  And I hope she won’t.  She crawls and I’ll chase her on my feet.  She kicks it into turbo gear with a big grin on her face.  If I chase her on all fours she’ll turn around and come in for a snuggle instead.  She says “mama” and “dada” and something that sounds like “hug” and “look”, which she seems to use at appropriate times.  I wish I could freeze her right now.  This is my attempt.

Now this is a face I want to remember! Love it!

A few weeks ago I received a phone call from Martha at New Dawn Midwifery asking if I would be interested in displaying my work there. I have such a passion for birth and newborn photography so I was absolutely thrilled! Below are a few of the canvases we hung.  So exciting!
